Multiple Part Processing Possible with Horizontal Spindle Turbo-Abrasive Finishing.

Turbo-Finish has a unique media delivery system (fluidized bed) that permits operation with a horizontal oriented spindle. Unlike other spindle finish systems with vertical spindle orientation, Turbo-Finish machines can process several parts simultaneously, as the parts can be ganged together on the spindle. In some applications, multiple spindles can be utilized in the same work chamber.

The photograph above shows turbo-charger rotors after processing with Turbo-Abrasive Machining (TAM). The dry abrasive method makes it possible edge-finish thousands of parts with very short cycle times of a few minutes.
