Many different part shapes can now be dry finished and polished with Turbo-Finish processing. The surface effects that can be developed include surface smoothing, edge-contour of sharp-edged features, satin-finishing, brush-like finishing and polishing. Dry processing eliminates the need for wet waste effluent treatment common to many other mass finishing methods
Part fixturing permits heat treat scale removal with very fine abrasive materials in a completely dry abrasive environment. Surface cleaning and finish effects are produced in very short cycles time due to the high-speed rotational movement of parts within the fluidized bed of dry abrasive materials.
